Introduced in September 2008, the logos are the result of a complete redesign of all our newspaper publications. Using a vibrant Desert Sand color, we have created a synergistic look that carries over from publication to publication. In order to maintain the integrity of the logos, please adhere to the guidelines.

Logo Guidelines

These guidelines are given to ensure that Freedom High Desert logos are used appropriately in all applications. It is essential that these guidelines are followed by those who are involved in the preparation and production of print materials that may contain any logos associated with Freedom High Desert.

Do not alter or modify the logo in any way. Do not scan the logo or take it off the any internet website other than FreedomHighDesert.com. Do not add any tag lines or other descriptions to the logo.

Do not use the logo within text. The logo should always stand alone. Do not change the typesetting or the style of the logo.

Do not rotate, distort, or reshape the logo. Be especially aware of this when importing the logo into different programs and resizing the logo. Be sure to reduce and enlarge the logo proportionately.

To keep the continuity of the logo, leave a reserved area of at least one time the height of the logo around the whole logo. Do not let elements such as graphics or type inside this area.

Do not change the font of the logo. Do not delete the website from the logo. Do not separate the graphic from the text of the logo and do not separate the text from the graphic of the logo.

Do not change any colors of the logo or place any borders, lines or shapes around the logo to alter its appearance.

To ensure legibility, the logo should be no smaller than two inches wide. Again, when scaling down the size of the logo, make sure to keep the proportions of the logo accurate.

Variations

Variations: Under certain circumstances, a variation of our logo may be needed for your display advertisement. Under these conditions, acceptable versions of our logos have been created to best fit your needs. Should you need one of these logos, please call the Marketing Department at Freedom High Desert at 760-241-7744.

Stacked and reversed versions or our logos can be used when the traditional version may not be suitable for your display advertising needs. In no way should these logos be altered from their original design.
